Today I decided not to do any work.
So, teaming up with the lovely PIN YEE;
We headed over to Plaza Singapura!
For what? The Science Buskers Festival!
I found out from webmail LOL.
From NUSH got Ze Xuan and Shi Yi.
When me and PY reach, they were having break;
So no show. Then we went walk around :D
Saw this Lego shop, with the 650 blocks bucket. Wanted to get but short of money...
So we left. At Times books store I bought something though;
You wouldnt believe it. The books are mad ex. I bought some crayons. LOL.
Crayola 64 crayons. For 10 bucks. Hehe. YAY CRAYONS!
So at 3pm we returned, place was filled with little kiddos. Well, mostly.
Oh at about 2pm when they were having break, on stage was this caucasian dude;
Demo some noob stuff (to amuse kiddos ya know) and talking about Physics;
More specifically, Galileo. And if you throw 2 things of diff mass down;
Both fall at same speed blah blah. I wanted to add, We'll see what happens,
When YOU (referring to ang moh) are at the bottom. Hehehe. XD
Me and PY checked out other booths first. The common experiments we saw;
Surface tension and centre of gravity. NUSH booth... Ok la. Not too bad;
Just that almost all I got see before... Anyway, the common ones.
Surface tension. I could probably explain their experiment better than they could;
But I held my peace. Dont wanna make them sad. Hehehe. Really the usual;
Colours 'dancing' on full cream milk with detergent's help;
Where the detergent absorbs the lipids in the milk (thus breaking the tension)
Corn starch. Yeah, that old boring one. And the balloon. Which I dont like.
Cuz one team had water in theirs, and they put a flame under it.
Well it wasnt suppose to burst (cuz water will absorb the heat) but it did;
Cuz they use the balloon too much and the rubber wore thin. Water splashed on PY;
A little on me too. Of course we freaked out. Oh well.
Anyway, the NUSH booth! The usual really. I saw and was WTH.
Blue Bottle (purple now, think they increase Methyl Blue)
Lava lamp (which is a killer to clean up.)
HYDROGEL! (my personal fave haha) Oh the hydrogel thing. I asked Ze Xuan to demo;
And he was damn xian la! Haha the fair was since ytd and he's been explaining;
To like, everyone! But in the end the used Hydrogel (polyacrelate) became...
Me and PY's toys! We were trying to make purple LOL. Cuz only got blue and red dye.
Hehe the ppl that near our booth stare at us XD So yeah.
Also got the cup thing. Something Thiosulfate. And the Potassium and Lead something.
Hehehe the one that turn yellow. Me and PY had 5 busker currency each;
But we spent one on candy floss yay (in the end we had 2. Hehe)
We gave almost all to NUSH. But also some to others, not that we were amused;
But we paiseh lol they explain until so xin ku. Teehee. Needless to say;
Shi Yi and Ze Xuan had a hard time trying to amuse me and PY, till we got the Hydrogel.
Also got other helpers from our sch. Got teacher also. Later on we went to get more currency;
Werent suppose to. The first time we got a chop on our hands, invisible one.
When PY took the second time, they bo scan and just give her :D
When I went to take, they scan, but still give me! Haha before I go take rub off liao.
I think the teacher didnt want me and PY there... Can understand her LOL.
Went to Daiso afterwards with PY at Plaza Sing to get the stuff PY needs for Bio;
The cell model. Which according to Jaryl, needs Centriole and Peroxisomes.
ZOMG I DIE. My stupid cell model no space liao. DAMN WE ALSO NVR LEARN.

LOL During the Top 100 pitching for Top 20;
We were damn xian/ nervous/ panicking. So yeah.
