WENT FOR THE NDP PREVIEW BABEHHH;

Was wearing FMC's red shirt;
That I bought a couple of years back.

Four hosts, Gurmit Singh, Michelle Chia, Suhaimi Yusoff and Denise Keller.
Started off with a mashup of I Gotta Feeling and Celebration.
Pretty happy got to hear Corrine May sing! Her voice is great (:
Also got to hear Taufik, Sezari, Sylvia and a few others. Through the media screen;
Got to see how much SG had progressed and it was pretty touching.
Got the Duck Tour and the YOG mascots (Merly and Leo) LOL.
The hardware (military stuff) were pretty impressive... I bet all for show la.
Got F-15 plane and a whole lot of tanks and stuff. And a list of countries we help.
In the mag (from bag) they show a list of all the hardware :D
Planes were loud and fast. Also had the Red Lions parachutists (if you call 'em that)
Gosh one day I wanna do that too. Fall from the sky and land safely, that is.
LOL. The uniform groups not bad too. Just that got a lot ppl not well;
Saw the 'nurses' (teen guys in army army like uniform) carrying stretchers;
Rushing around, also dunno what they doing LOL. Was a tad too long though.
Got the SingTel, ERA and even Sembcorp lol what they doing there;
Also got PUB and Airport people... Hmm... Didnt know we got so many UG too;
Of course, the usual Scouts, GB, St John's Ambulance etcetc.
The performances were bright and great. Lots of light involved! People too!
Got a pretty good rapper dude and this pretty cute musical instrument playing kid.
LOL. And as usual, played the video where SG split from M'sia, and LKY.
Also got mini tribute for the late Mr Goh Kheng (Keng?) Swee (I think?);
If not for him, SG wouldnt have got far. He helped LKY a lot...

When Taufik or Corrine was singing got a lot of people clap loud loud...
I was happily waving the clapper light thing. And oh! The fantastic bag!

Even got biscuits, magazine, sweets, badges and sanitizer! Of course got poncho haha.
Can't find my tattoos somehow D: Didnt get the bag design I wanted though... Oh well.
Back to the performances! Was cheorographed by Dick Lee I think.

Corrine May's singing certainly was up to expectations as she wowed the crowds;
With her song, Song for Singapore. There was also a medley of past year NDP songs;
Sung by various singers. The OneVoice choir was also good;
They can change colour super fast de. XD And as usual, the much anticipated FIREWORKS!
Certainly breath-taking! A diverse variety of colours and formations.
This experience has certainly 'woke' me up, as always once a year.
Truly, I have been reminded how much SG has been through, the troubles we faced together;
The obstacles we painfully overcome (think racial discord) and the progress we made.
We can't take this for granted, also we must note, how lucky we are to be in SG;
We should/must repay this nation, perhaps by helping it grow.
Our pioneers cant live forever, that's an undeniable fact. Similarly,
SG wont be the same without our heroes. We need to nuture another batch;
Uncorrupted, creative visionaries that would continue the work of LKY and gang.
