My initial group consists Jaryl, Ryan, Yao Yu and I. We have already decided on the article and allocated the writing roles to each member based on our individual writing abilities as well as the plot and details of each chapter. We decided on all these together as a group before we received this email about the swap which was supposed to come yesterday. I request that the swap does not take place as it would put a lot of our efforts to waste. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your email.
Indeed the email was supposed to be released yesterday, but due to staff contact time and Drama SYF (which I'm in the teacher in charge of), I couldn't send it out on time.
I hope this clarifies the delay. Additionally, since you did not email me the article/proposal, I was unaware of your preparation.
There are several mitigating factors which my decision is based upon - one of which is the proficiency level of members in each group.
This is something that was raised during the level meeting amongst all teachers since this project is 30%.
You, Jaryl and Ryan are all strong in EL while Jian Bin, Ethan and Tian Hong are not.
As such, it is my duty as a teacher to ensure that all groups are equally qualified.
Therefore, I am sorry but a swop has to be done.
Nevertheless, if you really feel strongly about plans being specifically tailor made to individual members,
an alternative I can suggest is that another strong member from your group can swap with Jian Bin or Tian Hong.
In this way, you have some flexibility in making a choice which would be a better fit.
