Day 25. Bridge the gap.
Monday, June 14, 2010
Dreadful! How imcredibly deadful! Ever so often I would wonder how I got into this mess, Surrounded by nothing but sand, sand and moer sand! Ephermal excitement when I first arrived. Reaslised the only traces of living creatures were me and some charred bones, That was when I understood the reason, Survivor Challenge, was called a challenge. I heaved myself out of bed twice; When I woke in the morning, and when I woke to go and bathe. Went to JP with SF and LX today. LX made me wait about 45 minutes, Which I spent sitting down watching trains go past, looking like an idiot. The trip was alright. Bought a new pair of North Star flats (current ones worn out) And some random stuff. OP needs a 50% off sale. And PMK needs nicer clothes. Bought badges too haha. The they came to my house; Watched YouTube and ate cheeeeeeeps. Omnomnom hahaha. Day 25- Something you would do if no one stopped you or if you knew you wouldn’t fail. I shall rephrase this into something the puny mind of mine can comprehand. What the shit would you do if you knew you would 100% succeed? Guess there would be 2 things I might do. 1. Run. Run far far away from this damned world. Maybe go on an adventure like in the books or something. Yeah I'm delusional. Roam the world and broaden my horizons. Stop studying, experience the world, travel. Do something USEFUL for once. Be HAPPY for life. Be SOMEONE. Roam the world. Settle down when I'm old. Raise my kids well and tell them about my travels. 2. Bridge the gap. Between races. Nationalities. More importantly to me, adults and children. As a child myself (though almost no longer) I feel that there are many misunderstandings between adults and children. The need to blame either is negligable. Both are at fault. Children may be generally immature, but not everyone. Seems that brain size decrease with age. Give us a chance. Listen to our side. Dont be so damn bias. I know it's human nature to be bias to the appealing, the one that you're closer to; And to defend yourself and presume that just because you're bigger and older, you're better. Kids, we're seldom against anyone, unlike adults. As long as you're nice and play with us, we don't care what colour your skin is and where you come from; That is, if the child is not yet BRAINWASHED by adults, which frequently happens, In my opinion, it happens because adults are scared the kids might become smarter than them. There is a gap that must be bridged. The future, if it wasnt destroyed already, might depend on that. And if I wouldnt fail, I wouldnt mind bridging that gap. World Cup fever, anyone? Dad's in it... This year's World Cup song, Waka Waka, sung by Shakira ft. Freshlyground; Is alright. Pretty ok to listen to and sing along. But like my dad, I feel that the best one is... The Cup Of Life sung by Ricky Martin! Best World Cup song (: I don't know what to do. Maybe I won't do anything. |
