Day 2. JP visit.
Tuesday, May 11, 2010
Brace yourself for one mighty long post! (dont say I didn't warn you!) So. Day 2 of 30. And will be blogging about the JP visit.. Hehe. Today went to my grandparents house slack. Eh you folks heard about the Mother Tongue? No changes to percentage. Just easier. But sadly, doesnt affect me D: So yeah, let's do Day 2 first shall we? Day 02- Something that inspires you –verb (used with object) Definations of 'Inspire' as taken from Dictionary.com. Those in bold are the definations I presume the activity uses. Inspire... Many things inspire me, but I what I feel has inspired me the most would be Christianity; Which has probably been with me for a really long time, I grew up with a Christian upbringing. Went to a Christian kindergarten in fact. I went to 2 kindergartens... Faith Methodist and St. James. Both Christian... Why 2? Well, my older sister went to Faith and my younger went to St. James. I was sorta like the 'intersection' if you would call it. So yeah, memories of Faith are limited and blur. St. James... Bo study one. Christian primary school too. Fairfield Methodist. You know that very brightly coloured building in Dover? The one with many screaming little kiddies and boys getting into trouble in Dover market? Yeah, that one. So yeah, get told Christian stories a lot and such. Go to church every now and then. Almost every Sunday. Of course Christianity had a big impact on me. Inspired me too. But I aint gonna preach nownow. I had this church teacher, Aunty Jones, a very amiable caucasian. As I grew older, I wanted proof for everything. Science. Thus I started to doubt Jesus. But she gave me proof. And faith did the rest. She taught me well, his teachings; His actions, his miracles and reasons. Why he did everything. Some I cannot comprehend, but by faith I accept it. Also, it has been an inveterate habit of mine to pray everyday, habit. Christianity also helps me endure through obstacles; At least I know someone is there for me. At least I know someone cares about me, a girl, just like billion others. Inspired me to help others, and I must say if not for Christianity, I might not be where I am today; ...Not that I'm very high up or anything. Influenced a lot of my actions though I assume one would doubt my religion just by talking to me. I do enjoy a good arguement with an aethist though. Let's me hear what such people think. So yeah, that should be enough for Day 2. If ya interested in Christianity, I dont mind sharing more :D Just drop me and email or tag. Email's in the profile. To conclude, My God is the one and only true God,the way, and the truth, and the life. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. So now. Jurong Point. Met Carilynne and PY at the entrance lol. Then decided to roam around while waiting for the rest. The rest: Lisa, Woo Jin, Jaryl and Zack. Hehe. We were browsing a random little shop on the basement level I think. A shop selling random little stuff. Browsed til they called, met at Macs :D Hehe. Outside we debated whether to go in lol. Had Macs for lunch... Haha. I didnt spend a cent but left pretty full. Freeloaded from the rest lol. Fries, nuggets and drinks. Haha didnt lose my freeloading spirit eh? The 2 boys dont know why come lol. Maybe go JP look at pretty girls XD Then we kinda split up. Since those 2 didnt wanna go shopping; Heard they got lost on the way to Popular though... -sigh- The girls, on the other hand, went shopping (: Cant rmb which shops but it was fun... Alternating between the 2 blocks and wadering around. Must say, not really nice... Even OP and Bossini let me down. Giordano was good, just a little costly and the sizes they had was too big; And I hate the minimum must buy how many pieces thing. Gahhh. Then the boys found us after a while... Went to a few shops together; Haha the boys were like O.O when we walked into the accessory shops; As expected, they stood outside looking like stalkers. Teehee. They were amazed at the time we spent in a shops like Artbox <-- :D Made a fool in Minitoons and played with the toys in Action City. OMG WE SAW A GIANT STITCH! STITCH!!! I LOVE STITCH!!! On my birthday I want a cute giant stitch. The one in Toys 'R' Us is big enough -hinthint- -innocent smile- Haha. 'Can we go home nowwwwwww?' Lol you go home also not my problem :P Teehee. Zack kept asking till PY pointed out that he could leave anytime; He ponedred a while then left with Jaryl. -Sigh- Boys... Didnt buy much... A book from popular, leggings, 2 pens, Artbox notebook lol. WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES?!?!? Maybe waiting for me in Bugis. Oh well. Going Lisa house tomorrow. Sigh. From Jurong East to Bishan very far ok... Mousehunt. Got all the crap for my ASG (Finally caught Elder) except BPs; Which happen to cost 160k. So nah, later on. Have Elub and Nerg Chieftains liao, now in Derr going after the Derr Chieftain. Sigh. Went to the library recently, on that day read finish one book, the next, another one. Emily the Starnge: The lost days and The Tomorrow Code. The Emily one was good. The writing style and plot was original and awesome, Funny and interesting. Haha, had a good laugh. Will try to locate the rest by the author. The Tomorrow Code was a sci-fic book without romance. WHOOT. My fav type. Hate romance stories. Love Sci-fic. Heehee. Love the starting and the ending. The plot was good. Morse code and gamma rays ftw! Esp when they're together. So now, you bored reader, 2 books for you to read. Whoah. That's one long post. "Today I realized that if the world ends in 2012, we will still get to see all the Harry Potter movies, but not all the Twilight ones. Take that, Twilight. Even the Mayans knew they'd hate you." -MLIA |
